OK, so this is my first journal here on dA (I don't cound the one from my old dead group). Why am I writing this and why you should read it if you're waiting for my abominations I dare to call pieces of art?
I need to take a break from coding. Well, at least from the Origami project. I enjoy doing it, but it will be a pretty busy month for me (10 or so exams + my driving licence) and therefore almost no time to work on Origami (but I'm doing my best). So you're gonna wait till February or such.
But I don't want to leave you empty-handed. I wanted to show you 2 new little Rainmeter projects I've came up with. Both are just simple player skins, not parts of any suite (I don't plan doing any, gotta finish Origami first).
The first one is called Cirql and it's based on this concept: d13yacurqjgara.cloudfront.net/… I found it great and tried to re-create it in RM. I think I managed to do it, just need to figure out the font and integrated settings. The second one is Drawbar and it's my own creation. The album art display in the middle is bound with the progress measure - it gets unveiled as the song progresses. Personally, I like it better than Cirql cause it suits my style more. And please don't ask me when these (or Origami) will get released. The answer is: when they're done. I don't want to upload unfinished stuff. Simple as that.
That'd be everything. Feel free to hate... I mean comment.

If you followed my previous journals here on DA you know that I've shared info about the progress I've made with my RM skins. This one will be informative as well, however, the message will be totally different.
I'm not going to make some long excuses, I'll get straight to the point: I consider leaving DA for good. And by that I mean all my RM projects, finished or not. If you still wait for Origami 2, then all I can say is that I'm sorry. The same applies for other skins, like Cirql and Drawbar, or other projects I had in mind. These include projects codenamed RETRO and minMAX (no previews, don't bother looking for these), not to mention al

It's been half a year since my last blog entry. I'm alive and well, but was hell of a busy. Unfortunately, not because of Origami or any other project. There were several reasons for that: exams, internship in a company of my choosing, few study trips and so on. Also many connection issues lately because of living in the middle of nowhere.
I've managed to find some free time and work a little bit on Origami. On the one hand, I haven't done much. I've decided to rewritten the whole suite to implement few customization options. On the other hand, it took some time and work to get it look like this:
As you can see, Origami is no longer plain w

So, my arm's functional again (more or less), my exams are over (finally) - that means there's no excuse in getting back to work (except for college, but I'll manage that). Origami is still my #1 priority, although I have few other projects I'd like to publish sooner or later - these include both Cirql and Drawbar - but I'll write more about them in another journal entry.

Some updates about my work.
First of all, I got hurt in my arm pretty bad and I've got some serious difficulties in using my PC. That means no coding, no designing, no active deviantARTing and whatsoever. How long? Few weeks, I dunno.
Secondly, all the exams mentioned in my previous journal entry took 2 months instead of 1, so I got very little time to work on Origami or other projects. They are stopped and won't be developed until further notice (by which I mean another entry or a screenshot of my work).
That'd be all for now.
